Pride and Prejudice by Jane austen

I would say the book Pride and Prejudice is about etiquette and how it affects people in their daily lives as much it is about Elisabeth Bennett and the diference between being well manered and truly being kind.
It was well written , rich in plot and all in all a excellent book.

  1. I started re-reading this on the plane, and--having not picked it up since I was a teenager--I've been delighted at what I forgot. A lot of people read it as a novel of manners, but mores regarding social class and gender are pivotal in the story as well. . . and it's so funny! Light and engaging, but also rich. I suspect that when I finish reading it this time around, it may officially become one of my favorite books.
